The Age of Stupid is a 2009 climate change documentary directed by British filmmaker Franny Armstrong and hosted by actor Pete Postlethwaite (The Lost World: Jurassic Park).
The centrepiece of this documentary envisages Earth in 2055 where only one man (Postlethwaite) exists in a world which has been devastated by a climate change induced flood.
Ultimately “The Age of Stupid” is an activism piece which is presented in drama-animation style. It emplores people to take action on their energy use habits and make difference, though it's kind of ironic that the film calls it's target audience "stupid". If we took some advice from Brian Cox it wouldn't be long before we had fusion energy reactors and then we could burn as many electrons as we liked.
