The 2006 Deliver Us from Evil documentary film by Amy J. Berg (An Open Secret) covers sex abuse cases in the Roman Catholic Church.
Specifically, the film looks at rape and molestation cases involving 25 child victims from Northern California during the late 1970's though to the early 1990's. These crimes were committed by Oliver O'Grady, a Catholic priest who ended up admitting to what he had done, which makes one wonder whether there were actually more victims or not.
The name of the film comes from the Lords Prayer Matthew 6:9-13: "Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."
