The Vietnam War, a 17-and-a-quarter-hour long documentary series which explores in great detail many of the most significant events that happened during The Vietnam War.
The series was written by Geoffrey C. Ward and directed by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. It includes more than 79 witnesses from the United States and Vietnam, both civilian and military who recount what they saw during the war. Director Ken Burns deliberately left out historians and other experts in favour of giving a fresh perspective from people who actually lived and survived the conflict.
