Dazzle is a unique documentary film that examines the hidden history of camouflage.
Camouflage came to become tremendously significant in World War 1 with the development of Dazzle paintings. Dazzle consists of complex patterns of geometric shapes in contrasting colours, interrupting and intersecting each other and was found to be very effective when used on ships.
The documentary makes comparisons between man-made camouflages and natural ones found on creatures such as cuttlefish and chameleons.
