This doc has been reported as broken, which is in fact not true. On Chrome, you will see a small shield on the far right of your URL bar. Click it and click “load unsafe scripts”. They are not inherently unsafe, just flash player (which is being phased out). Unfortunately, this is the only free source of this documentary at the moment. I have tested and the video worked perfectly fine.
"The Selling of a Serial Killer", a 1992 documentary about Aileen Wuornos who is thought to be the worlds first female serial killer.
Aileen Wuornos is believed to have killed 7 men in the state of Flordia between 1989 and 1990. After a trail, she was sentenced to death, a sentence which was carried out in 2002 by lethal injection. This documentary tells Wuornos' story from her troubled life to the court case.
The documentary was so informative that it was used by Wuornos' new defence team in 2001 to highlight the incompetence of her original lawyer.
For those of you who may be interested the story of Aileen Wuornos is depicted in a 2003 movie called 'Monster" starring Charlize Thereon.
