In the weeks leading up to the decisive 2016 US presidential election between Republican candidate Donald John Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton, documentary filmmaker Michael Moore (Sicko, Fahrenheit 9/11) travels to the heart of "TrumpLand" to perform a daring one-off stand-up show.
When making Michael Moore in TrumpLand, the first show they tried to do was banned by Trump supporters who knew of Moores' doubtful views of the Republican candidate. They probably should have realised that if you try and stop Michael he will not give up and do something even bigger and better which is exactly what he does in this case. Mike then ironically heads to Clinton County, Ohio and performs his show to a larger audience which is a symbol of the so-called "divided America".
While this documentary lacks in relevance today since the Democrats lost. Michael points out things about President Trump that we are still likely to be in store for so it still carries a lot of meaning.
