Ever since September 11th, the Federal Bureau of investigation has built a vast network of informants to tackle the problem of domestic terrorism. In this documentary, the BBC follows Saeed 'Shariff' Torres who is an ex-Black Panther (revolutionary black nationalist and socialist organization) member who ended up being an informant for the FBI.
Ex-convict Shariff uses the skills that he has picked up over the years to gather intelligence about pro-radical Muslims who often come in and out of the country, a job according to him that at times has made him 100 of thousands of dollars a year.
A documentary that takes us into the true counter-terrorism projects that are currently on-going in the United States. We see the tactics and the somewhat murky reasoning behind some of the apprehensions.
