Dinosaurs: The Hunt for Life: The idea that we could get dinosaur DNA sounds like something from the movie Jurassic Park to most people. To palaeontologists, it sounds like a total fantasy that DNA could be preserved for more than 65 million years. In this documentary, BBC Horizon meets Dr Mary Schweitzer who thinks she may have found traces of it in the bones of fossilized T-rex bones. If this is found to be true it will be a total revolution in our understanding of dinosaurs.
