The Hubble telescope has been around for more than 20 years now and while it is a fantastic piece of kit new technologies are going to allow us to view the universe like never before. This 2016 documentary presented by Nathaniel Kahn focuses on the telescopes which are going to change the way in which view the world around us. The film starts with the evolution of telescopes through the ages until today and then looks into the brand new telescope being developed by NASA; the James Web Telescope. The Hubble Telescope is around the size of a car, the James Web telescope which is due to be launched in October 2018 will be the size of a bus.

The James Web Telescope will have magnification capabilities 100 times greater than that of the Hubble telescope which is certainly going to open a new window of information for humans.
