Living on One Dollar, a 2013 documentary by Zach Ingrasci and Sean Leonard about four friends who challenge themselves to live on $1 a day for two months.
Not only do they have to live on almost no money but their challenge is set Guatemala so they will also have to face the challenges that country poses. For these four American living on such little money is unimaginable, however, over 1 billion people live on one dollar per day right now. So while this is a fascinating challenge to see how they will survive it also highlights the reality that so many people have to deal with on a daily basis.
The director of "Hunger Games" Gary Ross said this documentary is a "must watch". "Living on One Dollar" has also won numerous awards for challenging peoples perceptions of the world.
