Which Way Home delivers a potent message in light of the current US president; this 2009 documentary film follows a number of children who are attempting to travel to the United States from Central America and Mexico.
Written and directed by American filmmaker Rebecca Cammisa, one of the stories the film tells is of Olga and Freddy, two nine-year-olds who are living in Honduras but both of their parents are in the United States. Their only hope is to find them again.
What the "Which Way Home" documentary exposes is individual people who have their own unique struggles. In the main-stream media one often only hears facts and figures. If it was not for documentaries like this one they would also be the silent, invisible ones like thousands of others.
