A documentary which explores just what little we know about the amazing element that is water (H2O). Water makes up more than 90% of the Earths surface and makes up most of the human body but do we really know the secrets behind this life giving element?

If it was not for water we would not be here on Earth, so in this time of climate change it is more important than ever to understand what this substance is all about. As one of the most important elements we know of it is astonishing to think that it is one of the least studied. This documentary takes  us on a journey through some of the more recent and astonishing discoveries about water that may change the way in which humans can produce energy among many other things. The new discoveries by scientists across the world from Australia to Switzerland defy common knowledge about science and really are opening up new horizons.

In the documentary there are a number of interviews with prominent figure-heads into water research such as, Leonid Izvekow, Head of the Laboratory for Research into the Structure of Water,  Dr. Vlail Kaznacheyev, Director of the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine as well as Kurt Wüthrich who is a Swiss chemist/biophysicist and Nobel Chemistry laureate and responsible for creating nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methods for studying biological macromolecules. These people and many others are discovering the structure of water to help with agriculture, disease treatment and much more. There is even a claim in the documentary that water is able to convey a message faster than light which is yet to be proven however humans certainly do not know every mystery behind water and there sure is a lot more to be learnt.
