John returns to his homeland in Australia to make a film about the Aboriginal Australians who are the oldest living culture in the world. The Aboriginals inhabited Australia for thousands of years in a Utopia, which has slowly been crushed since the arrival of colonists from Europe in 1788. The oppression of these people essentially boiling down to racism and greed.
