The War You Don’t See: A powerful documentary by world-renowned journalist and investigative filmmaker John Pilger on the role that media has in War. Beginning during world war one, the film examines how propaganda has been used in ever increasingly sophisticated ways with the journalist always playing an important role.

Media influences the proposed strategic military actions such as the almighty disaster known as The Iraq war. Adaptive propaganda which was used extensively during world war 2 to trick the NAZI’s into deploying troop where the allies wanted them to be and influencing public opinion on events such as the atomic destruction of Hiroshima.

One of the most interesting parts of the doc is an interview with the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange.
