The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin, a documentary examining the history of Bitcoin and its tremendous impact on society.
The film tells the story of Bitcoin through the eyes of Daniel Mross, a 35-year-old programmer from Pittsburgh. In 2011 he became obsessed with the cryptocurrency and today a large part of his life revolves around it. As far as Daniel sees it Bitcoin is going to have a similar effect on the world of banking that the internet had on keeping us connected.
But will an open-source currency really take over the world? And if so is that for better or worse? Both sides of the argument are provided in this documentary.
