The Power of Nightmares, a 2004 3-part political documentary series presented by British filmmaker Adam Curtis.
Each of the hour-long documentaries make comparisons between the American Neo-Conservative movement and the radical Islamic terrorist movement. Despite them seeming like polar-opposite ideologies they actually have many similarities, these are highlighted using archive footage and interviews with narration by Curtis.
The Power of Nightmares is now over 12 years old, despite this, the film carries a lot of relevance in 2018. It was produced during Iraq war and radical Islamic terrorism is still absolutely destroying the Middle East, the result of Neo-Conservative intervention to a large extent. It's funny how most western administrations start off claiming to not want to kick-up the dust in the middle east but always end up doing so.
