The Monsanto Papers, a 2018 documentary published by ABC News Australia exposing secret tactics used by the Monsanto Corporation to ensure the continuation of its multi-billion-dollar operation.


Monsanto's number one product is Roundup®, representing around 50% of the company's revenue. It is the worlds most widely used herbicide containing the active ingredient Glyphosate, which has carcinogenic properties.


According to research, Glyphosate poses little danger for general home use. However, for people who use Glyphosate on an industrious scale such farmers, the risk of cancer increases.


On 10 August 2018, Dewayne Johnson, who has non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, was awarded $289 million in damages after a jury in San Francisco found that Monsanto had failed to adequately warn consumers of cancer risks posed by the herbicide a decision the company plans on appealing.
