The Last Trapper (Le Dernier Trappeur), a 2004 nature documentary about the last trapper, 50-year-old Norman Winther who lives in the Rocky Mountains with his Nahanni wife, Nebraska.
This film was created by French adventurist, writer and director Nicolas Vanier who follows Winther for one year as he lives off the land in Northern Canada. It shows how he interacts with the wildlife around him and as he, hunts to get food.
Ultimately "The Last Trapper", tell the story of a man who has become at one with nature. More than just surviving he is living a simple yet comfortable life with the stunning backdrop of the Northern Canadian landscape.
