In the 2016 documentary series "The Insider" Reggie Yates lives for real in some of the worlds most savage places.


Part 1: Reggie Yates spends one week in a Texan Jail in this documentary, living alongside some hardened criminals. America has the largest prison population in the world and Reggie Yates is going to find out what it is like to work, eat and sleep at one of their jails. In the film, he speaks to many people who reveal what it is really like to go through the American justice system and whether they think it is right or not. “Reggie Yates in a Texan Jail” is a 2016 documentary film which was filmed a Bear County jail and gives a genuine, un-bias view upon life behind bars, something that the general public rarely get to see.

 

Part 2: Reggie joins the Mexican army in the city of Acapulco, a place known for high drug-gang related violence.

 

Part 3: Reggie spends a week in one of the largest electronic waste dumps in Ghana: Accra's Agbogbloshie. It is a highly toxic and dangerous place.

 

In part three Reggie lives in the largest refugee camp in Iraq to find out what it is like living in a 21st-century refugee camp.

 

In the latest episode, Reggie works as a guard at the Guilford County Jail in North Carolina helping to manage over 1000 prisoners.
