Stealing Van Gogh, a 2018 art documentary hosted by British historian Andrew Graham-Dixon about the greatest art-heist of the 21st century.
In December 2002 a highly organised gang of professional thieves broke into the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and stole two priceless works. They were never caught and the paintings have never been seen since.
In this documentary, Graham-Dixon travels around Europe and meets with police and art-experts to find out what the use of stolen art is to criminals. After all, they are one of a kind pieces so the buyer must know they have been stolen. With so many artworks being stolen is there any hope of them being found?
