In this documentary series British actor and TV presenter, Reggie Yates shows us a side of South Africa we do not usually see as he gets up close and personal with three communities who have an "extreme" way of living in South Africa.
1: Since the end of Apartheid in 1991 under the leadership of Nelson Mandella, working-class white folk have been put at the bottom of the pecking order. In part 1 Reggie Yates travels to slums occupies by whites to find what their story is.
In part 2 of Extreme South Africa Reggie spends a week at a Cape Town hospital to see first hand the results of the high violent crime in the city, which is the worst in all of Africa. On a weekend doctors have to deal with around 100 stabbings and various other injuries.
In the final part of Extreme South Africa Reggie spends a week with Prophet Mboro who has made millions as a self-styled prophet and is worshipped by thousands at his megachurch.
