Red Hot Chili Peppers: Funky Monks - documentary

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Funky Monks
Rated 100
by 3 people.

When Flea, Anthony and Slovak formed the Red Hot Chill Peppers back in 1983 I don't think they could possibly have imagined how successful they were really going to be. The Los Angels bands music has touched people in every corner of the global and the band members themselves have gone through a lot to say together for more than 32 years. This documentary is about the making of “Blood Sugar Sex Magic”, the album which propelled them into stratospheric popularity. The 1991 album featured future classics such as “Under The Bridge” and “Give It Away” which won a Grammy award in 1992 for “Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal”. The Crafting of the Chillies style is documented in full on “Funky Monks” which was recorded in an apparently haunted mansion.
