Prince: Last Year of a Legend: A new Channel 4 documentary about American songwriter and performer Prince Rogers Nelson (1958 – 2016). The film analysis the last year of his life before he tragically died at just 57, from an overdose of a powerful opioid-based painkiller at his home in Paisley Park in April.
The documentary interviews people who were close to the musician and paints a picture of the life he led in his last year on Earth. The story begins in April at the Rally 4 Peace in rioting Baltimore in April 2015. It then explores other gigs he did such as playing for the Obamas at the White House.
