Pink Floyd are one of, if not the most successful bands of all time. Their true world wide fame came with the release of the 1973 album, Dark Side Of The Moon. But their next album featured a song called “Wish You Were Here” which is about their former band mate and soul of Pink Floyds feel Syd Barrett.
Syd Barrett suffered a mental break down around year 1968. Many people including David Gilmore believe it was due to the immense pressure of the music industry and the disillusionment between art and business one becomes enveloped in.
The documentary mainly features interviews with the band members, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason who give a unique insight into what it was really like for them to be a part of Pink Floyd.
