Filmmaker Godfrey Reggio returns once again to present "Naqoyqatsi", a 2002 art documentary film which takes the viewer on a journey highlighting depth in seemingly mundane things we see in everyday life.
Naqoyqatsi follows the same artistic characteristics of his other works; Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqats, two documentaries which made a huge impact on our perception of the world. The name of the film comes from Hopi, a Uto-Aztecan language spoken by the Hopi people and when translated it roughly means "life as war".
This is a fitting name for a 2002 film looking back at the world for we can now see everything which has happened since then.
