Mountain climbing is a mission that is not for the faint hearted. In the documentary “Meru” we explore from a genuine point of view just what it takes to be a dedicated climber. The film provides a “candid” view which allows us to understand the in’s and outs of what it takes to be a true climber without fear of heights or imminent death. Three climbers are obsessed with making it to the peak of Mount Meru Tanzania. At a height of 4,562.13 meters (14,968 ft) ,which is one of the most coveted prizes in the high stakes game of Himalayan big wall climbing.
