Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God, a 2012 documentary by Alex Gibney which was made in protest to clerical sex abuse in the United States.
The Catholic church is enormously powerful in the US and unfortunately, some people with positions of influence within have abused their trust. The documentary follows one particular story of four deaf men who were systematically abused by a priest during the mid-1960's. It was in fact, the first series of cases to bring about public protests about clerical sex abuse.
