Kurt & Courtney, a 1998 documentary directed by British filmmaker Nick Broomfield about the tumultuous relationship between Kurt Cobain, Cortney Love and circumstances surrounding the Nirvana guitarists death.
Cobain and Love were both musicians, though Kurt was the frontman of probably the most popular band in the world when he died at the age of 27 in 1994. His untimely passing under strange circumstances led to many theories about Cortney murdering him, rather than the official suicide verdict. This is the centrepiece of the "Kurt & Courtney" documentary film which looks into these conspiracies in extensive detail.
The leading theory is that Cobain was planning to divorce Cortney and remove her rights from his will. To make sure this didn't happen she hired a hitman who injected the rockstar with an overdose of Heroin, shot him in the head with a shotgun and placed a cherry-picked a note from Cobain's own work which sounded like a suicide note.
Cobain's former band-mates don't believe any of this, though his family have expressed some doubts over the accuracy of the official enquiry.
