It Might Get Loud, a 2008 documentary by American filmmaker Davis Guggenheim (producer of Training Day) profiling the recording and playing styles of several prominent rock musicians.

 

The film predominantly features rock guitarists, Jack White (The White Stripes), Jimmy Page (Led Zepplin) and The Edge (U2). As well as examining the technical ins-and-outs of their signature playing styles which have given their albums and unique sound, "It Might Get Loud" also explores how they started playing the guitar and how they picked up their skills.

 

Yes this documentary is an exploration of creativity which often comes from suspecting places. It will no doubt be of interest to anyone curious about the influences techniques of some of the biggest rock stars of all time, who provide candid interviews throughout.
