Inside The Mind of Google is a 2009 documentary which takes a rare look at the world’s most powerful technology company, at a time when the business still had an element of mystique. It gives a background on how two PhD students managed to take a research project and turn it into the worlds most used search engine and one of the biggest companies in the world and attempts to explain just how the company became so dominant.
The film also touches upon privacy concerns at the time and the reporter Maria Bartiromo presses Google executives on that issue on tape, internet privacy is of course still a pressing concern of internet users to this day. Also worth watching are the documentaries Inside Google (2010) and The Google Boys (2005).
