Beginning on the surface this documentary explores through the mantle, liquid outer-core and solid iron core of the Earth showing how much more hostile it gets as you travel downward using graphical animations.
While you would never want to go towards the centre of the Earth, because you would die, it really is a fascinatingly deadly place right below our feet with many mysteries left to be discovered. "Inside Planet Earth" shows some tremendous geological events as they are thought to happen in real-life such as lava-flows higher than Mount Everest and fields of giant diamonds forming.
