In the documentary Encounters at the End of the World, filmmaker Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man, Cave of Forgotten Dreams) travels to one of the most southerly places on Earth inhabited by humans on the continent on Antarctica. Herzog meets many different people during his visit to a place that is only accessible by plane between the months of October & February to find out why they have decided to work in one of the most inhospitable places on Earth.
