Employees Leaving the Lumière Factory, a short black and white film made in 1895 by French cinematographer Louis Lumière, one of the worlds first filmmakers.

 

The movie simply shows people leaving a factory in France. Never the less it is considered by experts to be the worlds first motion picture, despite preceding the Roundhay Garden Scene by seven years.
