A documentary film about the D.B. Cooper case. On November 24th, 1971, a man calling himself Dan Cooper booked a one-way ticket on Northwest Airlines from Portland, Oregon using cash. He boarded flight 305 and in mid-air hijacked aircraft, informing a stewardess that he had a bomb in his suitcase. After “proving” he had a bomb by briefly showing her a mass of wires which looked like an explosive device, Cooper handed a note to the stewardess and told her to take it to the captain. A scene which is reconstructed in this “D.B. Cooper: Case Closed?” documentary.

The note demanded that when the flight landed in Seattle, he would be given $200,000 in cash and four parachutes. Upon landing Dan Coopers’ demands were met and all 36 passengers were allowed to exit the plane, though most of the crew had to stay onboard; taking off again bound for Mexico City.

Somewhere between he bailed out of the plane and supposedly made an escape using the parachute. It is easily one of the most famous and mysterious crimes of the 20th century and one the FBI is still actively trying to solve. This D.B. Cooper documentary movie examines the evidence at hand and why he has never been apprehended.
