In Dark States Murder in Milwaukee Louis Theroux travels to the city of Milwaukee in Wisconsin which is said to be one of the most divided cities in the United States.
In the film, Louis spends time with the local police department who patrol district 5 which has a homicide rate 12 times higher than the national average. Murder in Milwaukee shows the troubled situation the city is in and takes us on the front line of gun crime.
As well as travelling with the police, Louis also meets with a family who has recently lost a loved one to gun crime and meets with a local activist.
