His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso (born 6th July 1935) has lived a simple, frugal yet well-educated life. The spiritual leader of Tibet has practised Buddhism from an early age and has received the noble peace prize for opposing China’s occupation of Tibet.
This Dalai Lama documentary revisits the life's work of the religious and political leader from his exile to India in 1959, right through to the present day. One will see that his Buddhist ways have led him down a rocky path but the advocation of peace and freedom have always helped him along the way in the face of adversity.
