Cool It is a 2010 documentary by American filmmaker Ondi Timoner which is based on the book "Cool It: The Skeptical Environmentalist's Guide to Global Warming" by Danish political scientist, Bjørn Lomborg.
The main argument that Lomborg makes in his book is the criticism of environmentalists who promote global warming with propaganda, rather than getting to the point and giving the public realistic solutions.
This documentary has been called out by some scientists who say it glosses over facts. Though this does not seem like the point of the film; “Cool It” is a message to get people to change the debate on climate to a more pragmatic one. If the causes are obvious then surely the solutions such have a clear line of sight.
