Bomb It, a 2007 documentary film by award-winning director Jon Reiss about the controversial art-form and sub-culture: Graffiti.
Graffiti is not some new movement that has just sprung up as Jon explains in his documentary. In fact, you can go back to the dawn of man and see that humans have always been expressing their ideas whether that happens to be on a cave wall or on the side of a factory warehouse.
The notorious modern graffiti we known of today exploded in New York in the 70's and 80's thanks to cheap aerosol cans being available as well as a tense social-political climate among other things.
The documentary BOMB IT was shot in Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Tijuana, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hamburg, Berlin, Cape Town, São Paulo, and Tokyo. Featuring a number of famous artists who were interviewed especially for the film.
