Audrie & Daisy is a 2016 documentary created by directors, Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk about the effects of online bullying on the lives of two teenagers and the local community within which they live. The traps people often fall into online are almost always invisible to their friends and family which is a huge problem in the age of the social network. Most social media sites are made with the best intentions of their users however, a small percentage of users turn sites like Facebook and Twitter into weapons with the power to victimise almost anyone they choose to.
The documentary Audrie & Daisy was filmed in Maryville, Missouri and features interviews with the Mayor of the city and the Sheriff as well as other people from the area.
