How the internet will be saved for future generations to study. Brewster Kahle and his team have been working to save all of the information in books, lp’s, DVDs and websites since the mid 1990’s. As you can imagine this is a tremendous task as there are problems crawling websites, reading material and storing such tremendous amounts of data.
In this documentary we take a look behind the scenes of the internet archive to give us an idea of how its done. The founder and chairman of the non-profit company, Brewster Kahle is interviewed and tells us his motivation behind the project.
