A documentary about the life and persona of Johnny Cash, one of Country musics most famous musicians. To tell the story the film uses a lot of archive footage as well as historical interviews with some of the people who knew Cash the most; Willie Nelson, Rodney Crowell, Rick Rubin and family members, Carlene Carter, John Carter Cash and Roseanne Cash.

Johnny Cash (February 26, 1932 – September 12, 2003) had released many songs through his career from the earlier Folsom Prison Blues days where the song “I walk the Line” reached Number one in the country charts in 1957 which won him a Grammy Hall of Fame, through to 2002 with song “Hurt”. Johnny Cash remains one of the most influential musicians of all time, not just the 20th century.
