A documentary about the manned missions to the moon. In the Shadow of the Moon follows the story of these historic events, the likes of which have not been superseded to this date. In the early 1960’s president of The United States proposed that the goal of landing a man on the Moon and bringing him safely back to Earth should be achieved despite the tremendous financial costs that it would bring.
The film features interviews from many of the surviving astronauts of the Apollo program which offers a unique sight into what it was like to be a part of such a historic moment in human history. The notably reclusive Neil Armstrong also makes an appearance in the movie which is rare to see as well as the legendary Buzz Aldrin.
